Research Grant Cervical Spine Research Society The Cervical Spine Research Society is a multidisciplinary organization that provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and promotes clinical and basic science research of the cervical spine. The organization values collegial interaction and strong scientific principles. To facilitate research in the field of the cervical spine the Cervical Spine Research Society – European Section (CSRS-ES) has the opportunity to award research grants of various amounts, both small start-up and substantial recurring grants up to a maximum amount anually of € 25,000, to research projects. Requests for a grant should be submitted to the secretary of the CSRS-ES. Research in all fields clearly related to the cervical spine is open for request of a grant. A Research committee will ultimately decide about the adjudication of the grant. The final grant will be dependent on the number of projects that are adjusted with financial support. Results of the supported studies must be presented at CSRS-ES meetings. The CSRS-ES must also be acknowledged when the study is published.
Requirements:
Research grant - Research proposal - adequate statistical paragraph and financial paragraph should be included - Letter of recommendation of the head of the department - Curriculum vitae including bibliography Travelling Grant - Proposal travelling fellowship: - Name of department, City, Country
- Letter of approval of the head of the department to be visited
- Demonstrable focus should be pathology, biomechanics or surgery of the cervical spine
