Dear Friends, dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure and honor that I address to you an invitation to participate in the 26th Annual Meeting of the Cervical Spine Research Society-ES, which will take place in Corfu Island, Greece. Corfu is the most favourite destination of Greece. It is an ideal place where not only King Ulusse and Emperatrice Sissy found a resort, but offers to the visitors the opportunity to profit of a place of tradition, plenty of history and cultural civilization. In Corfu, visitors are faced with a lot of verdant vegetation, amazing beaches, superb Venetian architecture, picturesque villages, lively nightlife and a great cosmopolitan way of life. Alongside with the topics traditionally featured on the meeting’s programme, we also endeavour to bring under discussion some of the controversies and a contention surrounding the latest treads in cervical spine pathology. Orthopaedics, Neurosurgeons and allied specialties related to the Cervical spine will focus attention on the problems of our discipline of Medicine is facing at this time. The task is demanding but nevertheless an exciting one particularly for the chairmen of the sessions and Round Table but equally for the participants who will be call upon. I trust that the contribution of all of you will be plentiful through-provoking and constructive. Eight-teen years ago, Greece hosted the 3rd CSRS-ES meeting, a successful and memorable one. As at this time, we will try to offer to all of you the opportunity to feel at home, to relax in a magnificent place, to enjoy collegiality as Bruce Northop pointed to us, and to have a fruitful meeting in this beautiful Ionian Island.
